After that cool them. Grate and mash the boiled potatoes in a mixing bowl. The potatoes should be very soft without any chunks left. After this add coriander leaves and green chillies. Then add garam masala, ginger paste, salt, chaat masala and red chilli powder and mix them well. Heat a small amount of ghee in hot oil then pour red chilli powder to remove the raw flavor. After this add flour and bread crumbs. Start mixing and make a firm and non-sticky ball.

How to make
The mixture has to be divided into two equal parts and make balls of it. One make balls or tikkis one may shape them according to their own convenience but thin and small tikkis cook well and get crispy when fried.
After making the balls flatten them.
Pour some oil and let it heat well. Then fry the tikkis until they turn golden. Meanwhile, keep flipping them to both the sides and fry.
After frying remove them from oil and put them on an absorbent kitchen paper.
One may have the tikkis hot with chutneys or as a burger in a patty.
