- 1 ½ pounds of boneless chicken
- 2 tablespoon of garam masala
- ½ onion chopped
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- ½ teaspoon of curry powder
- ½ teaspoon of turmeric
- ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon of salt
- 6 ounce tomato paste
- ½ cup yogurt
- ¼ cup half fresh cream
- 2-3 tablespoon butter
- 1/3 cup cilantro
How to make
Combine the chicken with 1 tablespoon of garam masala and little bit of lemon juice and keep it overnight for marination
Heat the oil in a pan and add ginger, garlic, curry powder,turmeric,cinnamon and salt continue cooking for another minute
Stir in the tomato paste and yogurt and bring it to a boil and cook for 25-30 minutes.
Add the marinated chicken to the mixture and cook at a medium heat for 10- 15 minutes.
Add the fresh cream and cook it for another 5 minutes and garnish it with chopped cilantro.
Serve it hot with rice or Nun.
