Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds of boneless chicken
  • 2 tablespoon of garam masala
  • ½ onion chopped
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • ½ teaspoon of curry powder
  • ½ teaspoon of turmeric
  • ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon of salt
  • 6 ounce tomato paste
  • ½ cup yogurt
  • ¼ cup half fresh cream
  • 2-3 tablespoon butter
  • 1/3 cup cilantro

How to make

  1. Combine the chicken with 1 tablespoon of garam masala and little bit of lemon juice and keep it overnight for marination

  2. Heat the oil in a pan and add ginger, garlic, curry powder,turmeric,cinnamon and salt continue cooking for another minute

  3. Stir in the tomato paste and yogurt and bring it to a boil and cook for 25-30 minutes.

  4. Add the marinated chicken to the mixture and cook at a medium heat for 10- 15 minutes.

  5. Add the fresh cream and cook it for another 5 minutes and garnish it with chopped cilantro.

  6. Serve it hot with rice or Nun.
