Ingredients

  • 1 small whole chicken
  • 2 tbsp of chinese spice powder
  • 3 slices of crushed ginger
  • 2 scallions
  • Water to poach chicken
  • Shrimp chips for frying
  • 4 C oil

Glaze

  • 3 tbsp of vinegar
  • ¼ cup sugar

Pepper salt

  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 3 tbsp peppercorns
  • 1 tbsp Ajinomoto

How to make

Step By Step Instructions for Cooking Crispy Fried chicken

The recipe prepared into two stages.

Poaching:

  1. Boil the water and put the cleaned chicken pieces in it.

  2. Put all the spices in a cotton cloth and throw in the water 

  3. Poach the chicken in water for around 20 minutes.

  4. Dry the chicken 

  5. In a separate pan, heat vinegar and sugar syrup and coat the chicken with the syrup 

  6. Keep the chicken aside to dry

Frying:

  1. In the deep fryer cook the chicken for around 10 minutes until it is golden brown

  3. Once the chicken is done, fry the shrimp chips.

  4. Serve the chicken with the shrimp chips
