- 50 fluid ounce of chicken broth
- 1 bunch of chopped green onions
- ¼ teaspoon of white sugar
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons of cornstarch
- 1/3 of cold water
- 3-4 eggs
- 2 tablespoons of cold water
- Paste of ginger for flavour peeled or rounded into cuts
- 1 stem of lemongrass which is bruised
- 1 tablespoon of peppercorns
- 2 star anise
- 2 tablespoon of miso
How to make
Warm the chicken broth which you have taken for preparation.
Pour the stock in a medium or high heated bowl.
Put the added or extra ginger, lemongrass, star anise, miso for flavour of the stock.
Turn down the heat for 15 minutes while the broth is cooking.
Scoop out all the extra items from the bowl if needed.
Add white sugar, green onions and soy sauce for taste.
Add the peppercorns to make sure your soup smells better.
Add 3 tablespoons of cornstarch in a small bowl and whisk it.
With the renaming of the corn starch, add eggs and whisk it in the same bowl.
Drizzle the eggs into the hot broth which is cooking.
