- 4 to 5 Hard boiled eggs
- A half cup of gram flour or besan
- 2 tbsp. of corn flour or rice flour
- One-eighth tsp. of ajwain or vaamu or carom seeds
- One-fourth tsp. of red chilli powder (use as required)
- Salt to taste
- A little bit of turmeric
- A half tsp. garam masala or meat masala (optional)
- Water as required
- Oil to deep fry the pakodas
- 1 medium size onion
- 1 green chilli
- 1 tsp. of ginger garlic paste
How to make
First, you need to boil the eggs and as it cools down after boiling, slice them and pierce the sliced pieces with forks. You should slice each egg to three pieces.
Now, blend onions, green chilli, and ginger garlic paste to make a mixture of a fine paste.
Next, take a bowl and add besan or flour, salt, masala (garam or meat) powder, turmeric, ajwain, and chilli powder.
After that, add the blended mixture’s paste into this bowl and use water as required to make a semi-thick batter.
Next, heat the oil in a frying pan and when the oil becomes hot, dip each and every sliced egg in the batter and deep fry them until they become crispy and golden brown.
