Easy and Quick way to make Egg Paratha (Anda Paratha)
Apparently, it may seem a daunting task to cook egg paratha but in reality, it is one of the simplest recipes that you will ever cook. Also, when taking a bit of the paratha, you will tell yourself that all that trouble and hassle is worth taking.
- A half cup of wheat flour
- Warm water as required
- 1 tsp. of oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 small finely chopped onion
- 1 green chopped chilli
- 1 pinch of pepper powder
- 1 pinch of turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp. of chopped coriander leaves
How to make
Take a bowl and add a half cup of wheat and a little bit of warm water and knead it.
After that add some oil in it and once again knead it until the dough is prepared properly. Make sure that the dough is soft. Now you can keep the dough aside for 20 minutes because the dough will not rise a bit. If you can make this dough overnight and keep it in the fridge overnight by using a soft wet cloth then it will be great also.
Now sprinkle a bit of flour in the rolling area of your kitchen and roll the paratha. You can make a triangle or circle in shape. The shape of the paratha will not have any effect on the recipe and its taste and flavour.
After rolling the paratha and giving it your desired shape, take a griddle or tawa and heat it. After the tawa is heated up, add some oil place the rolled paratha in it and cook both sides of the paratha well.
Now take another bowl and break 2 eggs. Add the chopped onions, pepper and turmeric powder, salt, coriander leaves, and chopped chilli. After that, beat this mixture well until the texture of the mixture becomes frothy.
Now, take the paratha out of the tawa and add 1 teaspoon of oil and then add the egg mixture. Fry the egg till it gets almost half-cooked.
Now, place the paratha above the fried egg and wait for the paratha to get stuck with the egg.
