Mushroom paneer is a simple recipe when it comes to prepare this recipe. Classic mushroom paneer is such a recipe that can be made in various varieties by adding different variations to it. Just take ingredients in the good proportions and always take the soft mushrooms and paneer for making it. 

Ingredients

  • 150 gm paneer
  • 3/4 cup tomato puree
  • 2 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 2 tablespoon fresh cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon powdered turmeric
  • 150 gm mushroom
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon butter
  • 2 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 2 onion, salt as per taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 4 tablespoon ghee
  • 1 spring coriander leaves

How to make

  1. Firstly, cut the paneer into cubes, slice the mushrooms and also chop the onions.

  2. Now, heat the ghee in a pan in medium flame. 

  3. When the ghee becomes hot, add garlic and ginger paste in it. Saute these until it turns aromatic. 

  4. Now add the cumin seeds to it. Mix it well.

  5. Add chopped onions in the pan and sauté until it turns golden-brown in color. 

  6. Now, Add the mushrooms and paneer in it. Fry it properly. 

  7. Pour the tomato puree in it and mix and stir it well enough to evenly coat all the ingredients. 

  8. Sprinkle red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and salt. Mix it well. 

  9. Make sure the ingredients are evenly coated with the spices.

  10. Pour in the milk or cream to the paneer-mushroom mixture. Give it a stir and cover it for some time and let it cooked. 

  11. When oil separates from masala, remove the cover and add butter in it. Mix it well.

  12. When the gravy thickens, take it off the flame and transfer it in a container. 

  13. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve it hot.
