Start by heating some butter in a deep non-stick pan.
When the butter melts, add chopped garlic to the pan and sauté till golden.
Now add chopped mushroom and capsicum. Garlic is the basic flavour giver of any Italian dish. Putting vegetables like mushroom, capsicum adds more flavour to your pasta.
Sauté mushroom and capsicum on a medium flame for 3 mins till the mushrooms get cooked. We do not have to overcook as it will change the taste of the pasta.
Now add maida. Butter and maida when cooked together form a roux, which will thicken your sauce. Cook till slightly browned. When you add any liquid to this mixture, it is bound to get thickened.
Gently cook on a medium flame for 3 mins, while stirring occasionally
Now add milk and stir continuously. Milk will start getting thicker.
Add oregano for good flavour.
Now finally add the boiled macaroni, salt and pepper.
Mix gently and cook on a medium flame for 2 mins or till the pasta gets heated through and gets the flavour of the sauce.
Serve this pasta hot and garnish it with cheese and with a side of garlic bread.
