Ingredients

  • 1 cup instant oats
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1 capsicum finely chopped
  • 1 tomato finely chopped
  • ½ coloured bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 chopped Green chilli
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 Pinch of turmeric powder
  • ¾ teaspoons of milk
  • 1 tbsp. of Oil or butter (which one you prefer it)
  • 1 tbsp. of finely chopped coriander leaves

How to make

  1. Wash all the vegetables and chop them finely. 

  2. To begin making oats omelette, take a bowl and whisk together all the ingredients’. Make it like a normal omelette consistency using milk. 

  3. Add herbs, salt, turmeric powder and pepper to this mixture.

  4. Now take a pan, brush a little oil once it is heated.

  5. Now pour half of the omelette mix onto the pan and let it cook for a few minutes until the base is cooked.

  6. Flip the omelette and let it cook for another few minutes and keep aside.

  7. Similarly, make another omelette.

  8. Finally when you have both sides of cooked, turn the stove off.

  9. Now your oats omelette is ready to serve. 

  10. You can garnish your omelette using fresh coriander leaves.
